Activities
The Washington State Food and Nutrition Council Board meets in person
on the fourth Thursday every other month from 4:00 – 6:00
p.m. at the ESD Conference Center at: 800 Oakesdale Ave. SW, Renton,
WA 98057 (Go to www.psesd.org
and click on conference center - there are driving directions listed
on the bottom. WSFNC has reserved the Hemlock room on the 2nd floor.
Everyone attending the meeting will need to check in at the front
desk and be directed to the room.) All Council members are welcome
to attend.
Board meetings by conference calls will alternately
take place on the fourth Thursday every other month from 4:00 –
6:00 p.m.
Board meetings in person will take place January 17, March 20, May
15, July 17, and September 18. Board meetings by conference calls
will take place December 20, February 21, April 17, June 19, and
August 21.
WSFNC holds an annual conference in September for all members and
the interested public on topics that relate to the goals of the
organization. Continuing education credits are typically available
for Registered Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians and Certified Family
and Consumer Scientists.
Mid-year events are usually held between March
and June.
